What's your opinion about Nm turning back into passive, like they're both separate people?

Not my thing tbh

Here’s a list why:

1- them being separate people immediately falls into “what corrupt did was never Nightmare’s fault!!!” Which immediately makes for a very unsatisfying conclusion to those “Corrupt” abused, to those he hurt and to those he tormented, his abuse would immediately be written off as something that didn’t even happen on Nightmare’s end, or something that others shouldn’t blame Nightmare for, it puts Nightmare into “the perfect victim” which is so boring at best and very frustrating at worst

2- even if you write Nightmare as trying “to make it up to people Corrupt hurt with his face” it’ll be with a bitter aftertaste of “but it wasn’t really his fault, and he’s still trying anyway!” Which paints Nightmare not only as a perfect victim, but also a complete saint that has never and will/can never do anything wrong

3- Dream’s and Nightmare’s relationship would just be null and void, especially with the fact everything can be written off as “Dream doesn’t blame Nightmare for anything cause it wasn’t even him doing all the hurting”, and where Dream would be justified for protecting Nightmare from those rightfully seeking revenge, in fact, those he abused would easily be written as “irrational” for seeking vengeance, like their abuse didn’t even matter, how it wasn’t Nightmare that abused them, but someone wearing his face, and therefore he shouldn’t be blamed at all

When you can instead, write Nightmare pre and post corruption as the same person and get an interesting story about Dream’s very biased views and his tendency to surrender to his feelings, how he can be a bit of a hypocrite for protecting his abusive brother, where his morals clash with his own personal interests, which you can’t really write if Nightmare is wholly innocent no?

4-Dream’s endeavors to “save” his brother would just be completely justified, and in turn, make everyone else out to be irrational for thinking Nightmare is a bitch and that Dream needs to stop trying to save him and instead actually kill him, when in reality Dream is the one that should be written as “irrational”

Instead, if Nightmare is the same person pre and post corruption, you can write a wonderful story of something along the lines of Dream understanding deep down that his brother can’t be saved and that his attempts at “saving” Nightmare is from a deep pain in his chest where he can’t get over the grief of losing what he and Nightmare had before, and even worse, how he’s extremely terrified of a future where he no longer has his other half, and how he isn’t ready to live half empty for the rest of his life

5- writing Nightmare’s story to simply conclude with “and he was saved and they live happily ever after” is such an unsatisfying conclusion to the Twins’ story, to just negate all the hurt, all the trauma, and all the pain, by making them live happily ever after, like they didn’t endure 500 years of misery, to assume that they can actually just heal together (and immediately) just because Nightmare “wasn’t really the one to hurt people” is absolutely not something I’d be fond of

Of course, not saying you can’t make a story interesting with the idea of Nightmare and Corrupt as separate people (for example, I think you can write an interesting story about how Dream’s perception of Nightmare could be really distorted after so many years of Corrupt manipulating him that he’s indeed his brother, and that even after saving Nightmare from Corrupt, Dream now feels like everything is wrong and that Nightmare doesn’t feel like his brother anymore)

I honestly don’t mind the idea in itself, just that, I can’t really see how you can make a satisfying narrative and conclusion to Nightmare’s and Dream’s story with it

so it started with me trying to find away to somehow link tarmite, clover, and jaoba together because they all happened to have liminal space themed floors. So I linked it to MR's cult. It started off with just the three, mr, enphoso, and maneveurer (idk how to spell) and then folly, then glevil was added, then unpleasant, AND THEN NULL. i forgot when scary mike was added

now relationships are complicated;

tarmite and glevil are married and are having a baby, theres an evil polycule with folly, unpleasant, and scary mike. jaoba and clover will get together somehow. jaoba and tarmite are the song good luck babe but mlm. unpleasant and glevil have a rivarly, unpleasant sees them as inferior. unpleasant is manipulative to null. ashton is evil, he shot 18 cloverlings, he will try to kill aformentioned glevmite baby

most of my designs dont have meaning

clover has two clothing designs, one more ragged and ripped and the other is the sweater vest and more put together. the former is used in past scenes and when theyre in the cult. the latter is used when poob and friends 'kidnap' them..

tarmite has knightly armor and jeremy has prince-like clothes. supposed to represent tarmite trying to protect jeremy when he was young.. Scary Mike has ripped clothes kinda, also he has my old folly's designs clothes, tying the two together more since he is more attached to folly

unpleasant's markings are meant to look like fungus and shes supposed to look like a succubus overall though

glevil wears their long ass skirt for a reason, its too look more mannequin-like. covering their humanoid legs.

jaoba has his cuffs around his wrists and neck is to represent Enphosos control.

the general plot is focused mainly on clover and them escaping the abuse from the cult. also focused on characters and revealing their lore aswell as the main plot revolving around a not so twist villian

When I found that s class ship IT DISAPPEARED IN FRONT OF MY EYES AND I FELL THROUGH THE PLANET but obviously I fixed it

the second infestation site glitched out and spawned in SPACE so I couldn’t do anything but I reset and that worked

it wouldn’t let me near dropzone 2 I kept pressing the button and nothing would pop up (this also happened on another save)

I went to a comms station for a different ancient site and it didn’t show the text on screen until I WAS IN ANOTHER GALAXY

when I was fighting biological horrors they shoved me through the wall and I glitched awaY

Backstory: Born pretty much an orphan, he was taken in by Nim alongside Dream, then taken by several priests—then cared for by no one else, other than a friend (Dream). Pre-incident NM always looked up to the power of negativity and often studied it. He knew how important being a guardian was, and how lucky and powerful he was considered to be. Unfortunately, his knowledge was considered a threat to the people who wanted the apples. And that led to the constant bullying, which also resulted in him hating Dream for pulling these stupid pranks that the villagers would keep blaming him for. Dream was just so chaotic and unhinged, and he was more calm and intelligent. He met Cross in the village, and figured he wasn’t originally from it since he looked so unique. They befriended each other because they were more alike than expected, and often hanged out as a result of that. One day, Dream was spotted taking apples from the tree & taking the power for himself. And once NM was aware of the situation, Dream offered him his power as well. NM ends up accepting the offer mainly because of his knowledge, as well as an urgency to escape. The aftermath left them being even more than Guardians, but Gods. With this much power, he could take over the entire village, and maybe even the world. NM officially escaped the village, and went into creating his castle. He ended up taking in Dream as a secondary follower, and Dream hired Ink for more support. They have multiple guards in their newly-found corporation, that simply mean nothing but pawns to both Gods. Blue, Cross, & Error are nuisances to their main mission of bringing on ‘The End of The World’. Which was brought up by both NM and Dream as a deserved fate for how cruel humanity was. With all of the bullying, disrespect, and abuse…why should they have a chance at life?

Relationships: Blue & Error are enemies, supporting a useless cause. Dream and Ink are just followers who will help him achieve success in eradicating mortality. Cross is a distant friend, who is now completely fighting against him for no reason other than ‘selfishness’.
